All incoming 9th graders are expected to take a Placement Test on one of the following dates -
Saturday, March 20 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Thursday, April 8 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Please sign in at the main lobby approximately 15 minutes in advance of the test. The test will include Mathematics (pre-Algebra and Algebra), a writing sample, and a French test for those who wish to enroll in French 2 as Freshmen. Students not taking the French test will complete the testing in approximately 90 minutes versus the entire two hours.
If you are not sure which date your child is registered for, or you have other questions about the test, please contact Linda Barnes, Director of Enrollment & First Year Students at 862-6521, ext. 235 or barnes@ricehs.org. If neither date works for your child, please ask to schedule an alternative date.
