We have extended the submission of Senior Photos to March 31. ***IMPORTANT*** If no photo is submitted by this date, we will use the school photo that was taken at the beginning of the year (if one is available). If you are choosing not to have a senior phpoto taken and would like to use the school photo, please let Mr. Spagnolo know as soon as possible by email – spagnolo@ricehs.org.
Below are the guidelines for the Senior Photo.
The yearbook staff would like to present the following guidelines for Senior pictures for the 2010 Yearbook.
The photo should be a portrait (full or half body photos are not recommended). The standard portrait shot produced by professional photographers presents much better. Students should be well-groomed. Grooming policies for the photo must adhere to the grooming polices set forth in our Student Handbook. All students should be dressed in a neat and appropriate manner. Girls’ tops must have sleeves and they must be modest. T-shirts and sweatshirts should not be worn in the photo.
The yearbook staff reserves the right to determine if a picture is appropriate. If a picture is deemed inappropriate, the student will be asked to submit another picture. If the staff does not receive an appropriate photo, the school picture will be used.
We would like to emphasize that the senior picture does NOT have to be a professional photo studio picture. However, the resolution of the photo must be 300 ppi.
This year’s book will be in color, so please submit a color photo.
Photos are due by March 31,2010. Photos may submitted electronically by sending them by e-mail to yearbook@ricehs.org (recommended) or brought to Mr. Spagnolo’s office in the Science Wing.
